Break Team 26-27
Break Debate Team 26-27 is our Lincoln-Douglas competitive debate program for students in grades 6 through 12, open to every experience level from complete beginners to national circuit competitors. We run like a school debate team, only with a professional coaching staff behind it: personalized one-on-one tutoring, twice-weekly seminar classes taught through the Harkness and Socratic methods, coach-produced research for every topic, and coaching support at tournaments.
There are three season plans. Every plan is billed per season and can be paid in full. The coaching standard is the same in all three; what changes is how much research, classroom time, and private attention is included.
FOUNDATIONS — $2,000 per season
For students who are starting out and building fundamentals, not yet competing. Foundations is the on-ramp: it front-loads teaching and private attention rather than tournament research.

ESSENTIALS — $3,500 per season (most popular)
Built for competitors who want the research and the classroom without a fixed plan. Essentials gives a self-directed debater the full research operation and the complete lecture sequence, and leaves the scheduling up to them.

CIRCUIT — $4,000 per season (the full program, highest value)
For the committed circuit competitor going all in. Circuit is everything in Essentials plus the structured small-group and private coaching that separates a full program from a materials package.

AVAILABLE ON EVERY PLAN: ONSITE TOURNAMENT COACHING
Onsite coaching is an add-on to any plan rather than something bundled into a single tier. The cost of sending a coach to a tournament in person is split evenly among the students attending that tournament, and we target a 1:4 coach-to-student ratio. The in-person tournament list shifts each season with participation. When in-person coverage is not possible, online onsite support supplements wherever our students compete.
